Happy St. Patrick's Day, class!
In order to celebrate this Irish holiday, we are going to read and comment on the poetry of one of my favorite poets: Seamus Heaney. Heaney is from Ireland and he often writes about his homeland.

Seamus Heaney is a very good poet. I liked the poem "Digging." It made me think of the things I have in common with my dad and then also our differences. My dad and I are not exactly the same but that is ok because I still want to be like him in many ways.
